The RÓ Baby mattress is made of pure wool and the surface water repellant to a certain degree. The pure wool fibers inside does have self cleaning properties, and the upholstry can be spot cleaned with a cloth and environmental friendly upholstry cleaning agents. We recommen that the mattress be aired and allowed to breathe once in a while inbetween use.
